Account & data deletion

You can request deletion without signing in to this website or reinstalling the app.

Send a deletion request

Email with the subject English Memory Palace — deletion request.

Email a deletion request

If the button does not open your email app, copy the address above into your usual email service.

What to include

  • Say whether you want an app account and all associated cloud data deleted, specific data removed, or help erasing local data.
  • If you have used a cloud-enabled version, send the request from the email associated with that account, where possible. Include the app version if you know it.
  • Do not send passwords, authentication codes, tokens, identity documents or a full progress backup.

We will reply to confirm the request and any ownership verification needed before deleting account data. A request concerning only your phone or your exported files will receive instructions because we cannot access those copies remotely.

Delete data on your phone

  1. Save a backup first if you want to retain a recovery copy.
  2. Open Android Settings → Apps → English Memory Palace → Storage → Clear data. The wording can vary by phone. Uninstalling the app also removes its private local storage.
  3. Delete exported backups, media packs and feedback files separately wherever you saved them.

Repeat the process for other installations or phones whose local copies you also want to erase.

Cloud accounts and retained copies

The existing offline app has no online app account. The cloud-enabled version has not yet been released. Once available, its Settings → Delete cloud data control is intended to remove active synchronized learning history, notes and revisions, suggestions, usage events and cloud recovery exports. This email request route remains available if you cannot use that control.

After cloud deletion, a minimal account-suppression record is retained to prevent old devices from automatically re-uploading deleted data. Azure recovery backups expire according to their retention schedule; the proposed configuration is seven days and must be verified before cloud release. Local phone data, downloaded exports, support correspondence and the Microsoft identity account are separate copies or services. Editing or deleting an individual synchronized note retains its historical revisions until complete cloud-data deletion.

Our privacy policy explains the current offline behavior, support-email handling and planned cloud behavior.
